Thank you for the … Thank you for the video! Now I see what a rotary hooks is.
I wanted to write you a PM, but I can't see how.
I'd like to ask for your permission to use a small sequence of this video for an animated gif. I want to illustrate how a rotary hook looks like (I myself have just an oscillating one, so I can not make a video of it myself) and put it out under a creative commons license. May I do that please?
How do I oil this … How do I oil this machine? I have the same machine, but my manuel had to be thrown out a long time ago
I saw a few other … I saw a few other videos about how machines work and understood it, it is like the bullet type but they made it with a rotating part because when something goes back and forth (the bullet) it needs more power and makes more noise while the rotating part can be much faster with less effort and lower noise.
There is a guy who did a few old-school videos about how staff works and I saw it.
Yes if you watch … Yes if you watch the video I put the bobbin in later to run it. I left it out at first so you can see the thread get caught. The bobbin holder has a little space at the top and a pin that fits in the slot to keep it from spinning. When the thread goes around it gets pulled back up and through the little space by the uptake lever. It is hard to see and my camera isn't very good for this type of macro focusing.
The free bullet … The free bullet type is kind of easy to understand that the bullet that has the under-stich is going through the little loop.
This kind of rotating hook is not very clear of how it does it but I assume that there must be some sort of free little bobbin inside that can go through the loop created from the upper thread.
What is probably … What is probably happening is the power cord and foot control cord got switched or you have the wrong cord on the plug in on the machine. The side plug goes to the foot control and the plug in the back of the machine goes to the wall plug. It may be a plug like an old coffee pot or fry skillet would have. Mine was missing the power cord for the first year before I found one that fit. Pfaffs have a male female plug set and the cords get lost first.
My friend recently … My friend recently purchased a Pfaff 330. When she plugs it in, it is automatically on and in high speed and stays in high speed. Is there an on off switch? We didn't see you turn yours on.
I have that, the … I have that, the carrying case and several feet for it, It's been my dream machine for years ever since my great grandmothers was stolen. It's pretty much my child lol, and everything on it works perfectly!
If it has the … If it has the power and foot control cords I'll give you $100.00 for it. You got the last machine you will ever need, the deal of a lifetime too! Congrats!
I just got a Pfaff … I just got a Pfaff 360 from someone who was gonna throw it out, it's in perfect condition, can you believe some people? Awesome video, and maybe weird lol but I like your voice.
I have sewn … I have sewn everything from belt leather to canvas and heavy reinforced vinyl panels from billboards. The thing is like a little tractor just keeps chuggin' along. Ugly but tough it has it's own rugged style I learned to appreciate.
This machine is … This machine is great had 3 of these once. They usually don't break if you take care of them.
thanks so much,,,,5 … thanks so much,,,,5 stars
